Terms of Service

By using the Service or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for them.

Some features, such as saving captures and your game identity, require an account. You agree to give accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure and let us know if you believe your account has been used without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

You may use the Service, and share what it creates for you — such as your stats and results — in your own content, including content you monetize as a gamer or creator, in line with these terms and applicable law. You may not resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service itself, or the Mosh Pit Labs software or branding, without our permission. We may set reasonable limits on use, such as upload size or frequency, to keep the Service running well for everyone.

You retain whatever rights you have in the screenshots and other content you submit. Screenshots often include material owned by others, such as a game’s interface, artwork and trademarks, and other players’ names; using the Service does not give you or us ownership of that material. By submitting content, you give Mosh Pit Labs permission to store, process, analyze, extract gameplay information from and display it as needed to operate, provide and improve the Service for you — for example, to extract your gameplay statistics and show them in your history.

You confirm that you have the right to upload the content you submit and that it does not violate these terms or anyone else’s rights. Screenshots may contain other players’ names and statistics; please upload only gameplay content from matches you took part in or otherwise have a right to share.

Mosh Pit Labs reads gameplay information from screenshots and other sources using automated methods such as text recognition and computer vision, and may use other automated or AI-based tools in the future. These methods can make mistakes. Extracted statistics may be incomplete, missing or incorrect.

Game data sources we use to verify or enrich results, including third-party and community APIs, may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable or changed without notice. Some results may remain unverified.

The Service is provided for informational and entertainment purposes. Please check any gameplay information that is important to you before relying on it.

Mosh Pit Labs is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Valve Corporation, Deadlock or any other game publisher or developer. Game names, trademarks, logos and related assets belong to their respective owners. Use of third-party names is only to identify the games the Service supports and does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

The Service relies on third-party services, such as sign-in providers and game data sources. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

Apart from your content and third-party materials, the Service — including its software, design, branding and the Mosh Pit Labs name — belongs to Mosh Pit Labs. These terms do not give you any rights to it other than the right to use the Service as described here.

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• upload content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing or that you do not have the right to share;
• upload malicious files, or attempt to disrupt, overload or interfere with the Service;
• try to access other users’ accounts or data, or parts of the Service you are not authorized to use;
• scrape, bulk-download or automate access to the Service in ways not provided by us, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows;
• misrepresent your identity or impersonate other players;
• use the Service to break any law or any game’s terms of service.

The Service is under active development. We may add, change or remove features, and the Service may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance or because of issues with our providers. We do not promise that any particular feature or game will remain supported.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mosh Pit Labs disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement, and does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mosh Pit Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us to use the Service in the 12 months before the claim (if any). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

You may stop using the Service at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by contacting us. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use creates risk or harm for others or the Service, or if we stop offering the Service. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination (such as sections 5, 6, 7, 10 and 11) will continue to apply.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above, and if a change is significant we will take reasonable steps to let you know. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the updated terms.
